About the event
An introductory yoga workshop for young athletes (parents can join too!). This workshop will introduce a series of poses and breathing exercises that specifically aim to enhance athletic performance and mental resilience. The workshop begins with an overview of how yoga can enhance performance and improve mental and physical well being for athletic performance. We will introduce some key practices that young athletes should incorporate into their daily routine in order to prevent injury. These practices will focus on key muscles that athletes need to routinely stretch and will also introduce breathing techniques to help them meet those performance goals. This interactive workshop is not only educational, it is fun! All levels and ages are welcome.
